JEE (MAIN)

What is JEE

Syllabus. MHT-CET has lesser syllabus and is a simpler examination than JEE (Main). Also, more seats of state engineering colleges are available through MHT-CET than JEE(Main) (15%). Hence, it makes sense to focus more on MHT-CET than on JEE (Main). For understanding the subject, for the 40% weightage of board results and for MHT-CET, in the final ranking for admissions to either in engineering or medicine, students will have to prepare the syllabus well theoretically and will not be able to neglect their board and college syllabus. They will have to prepare the entire syllabus subjectively and objectively.
Following is the examination pattern for JEE (Main). Paper I is meant for B.E / B.Tech aspirants and Paper II is meant for B.Arch / B.Planning aspirants.
The former tests the students’ skills in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the latter tests skills in Mathematics, Drawing and Aptitude of the students.
